Ashley is our resident political analyst. She holds a degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University. Though she is not working in the field, she has maintained a passionate interest of the Middle East and its people. Her greatest aspiration is to earn a doctorate in the field. She is also the mother of two young children.
Beth's focus is in the humanities and history of the Middle East. She graduated from BYU with a Middle Eastern Studies degree in 2005. A child of the oil industry, she spent a large portion of her childhood living in the Gulf region. Her travels in the Middle East have brought her to Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Beth currently lives stateside and works at home to care for her 1.5 children, but dreams of returning to the Middle East someday.
